Asharqia Chamber recently issued its issue No. (581/582) of its "Al-Iqtisad" magazine, which it launches monthly, to shed light on the developments of the national economy and monitor its growth rates at the local and global levels.
In its new issue (May/June 2021), the magazine dealt with monitoring and analysis of many topics related to the national economy, most notably the privatization program, which it ranked (the largest privatization program in the Middle East) and saw it as a defining moment in the national economy as it approached vital sectors with a direct impact on the Saudi citizen.
The magazine investigated the most prominent views of international economic institutions and references on the Saudi economy and its ability to recover from the repercussions of the Corona pandemic and concluded that in light of the balancing policies pursued by the Saudi government following the vision and its objectives, the rise of global production operations at a high pace accompanied by a similar rise in oil prices, and an increase in government revenues It has not been achieved before, that the Saudi economy is running towards an active awakening from the effects of the pandemic, stressing that the professional governance approach followed by the Saudi government made it ahead of the countries of the world in several global indicators in government performance and entrepreneurship, and it shows a tangible improvement during the current year 2021 and another expected in the following year.
In the context of the pandemic and its repercussions on the national economy, the magazine monitored about (9) local economic activities that achieved upward growth and high profits, as well as recorded a record jump in their performance despite the restrictive measures imposed by the pandemic, such as the activities of delivery applications that recorded an increase of 250% and the activity of points operations Selling by 69% and the medical sector, which increased by 25%, in addition to the increase in the number of registered electronic stores, which increased by 170%.
The new issue contained a set of various topics about the space industry and the interest that the Kingdom attaches to this sector, and Saudi initiatives on protecting the earth and nature and what they target and advance in terms of treatments towards the global climate, as well as their review by monitoring and analysis of the factors supporting the growth of the health sector in the future, as well as the sports sector, which She confirmed that many major investment opportunities are ahead of us.
The magazine included coverage of the most prominent events and events related to investment in the Eastern Province and the future of the business sector in it, which recorded between 2019-2020, a growth of more than 11%. The new issue also included many surveys, circulars, articles, and various economic and commercial investigations.
